The Federal Office of Consumer Protection (PROFECO) conducted a study on several models of men’s denim pants Which are sold in Mexico, revealing which are the best and worst brands of jeans.
According to the PROFECO study, lMost pants meet quality standardsSo the ratings given were excellent “E” and very good “MB”, although there were some that had loose seams and their fibers differed slightly.

quality study form from National Consumer Protection LaboratorySeven models from eight brands of denim pants were analysed.
204 tests were applied to the jeans, where the fabric and finish of the fabric were determined, as well as the identity and content of the fiber, size changes due to side effects, verification of size, weight of the fabric’s resistance to discoloration, Post-deformation of the garment and its durability.
This study showed that the best jeans brands to get an “E” are:
- oggy / black black carefree
- Silver Plate Rocco / 705
- Silverado Forte / 50501

And the brands that don’t follow everything but get the “MB” rating are;
- Lewis: Profeco studies have shown that seams are loose and wear out easily.
- America Crew: This is not 100% cotton, so it violates the laws established by the standard.
- Member mark: .3% is other clothing.
