The residents of the communities of Choix are at the mercy of God in this season because of the lack of rain, to increase the amount of water in the wells.
The biggest problem is that the efforts of the three levels of government are insufficient to meet their needs, especially to bring the vital liquid for human consumption.
It is unlikely that only four pipes distribute water to the 40 communities of El Alto municipality. They are three from the State Drinking Water and Sewerage Commission of the State of Sinaloa and one from the Drinking Water and Sewerage Board of Choix Municipality.
More is needed as the drought is getting worse in that region. It is true that Choix officials believe that the 8,000 liters of water supplied by them is insufficient because only then can progress be made in resolving the problem.
