In the circular issued in the morning, once he had concluded his weekly meeting with the media representatives, the Governor Rocha refers to recent events where journalist Luis Enrique Ramirez was deprived of his lifeA document that basically establishes:
“The recent events, especially the deprivation of the life of journalist Luis Enrique Ramírez, are a reason for reflection on the guarantee of the free exercise of the said profession in our state. We must remember that this right must receive strong protection, To which all government agencies are bound to contribute.”
“Based on the foregoing, this Administration is not in harmony with the practice of legal action against journalists for broadcasting expressions in the performance of their profession. For this reason, the officers, who are in the matter, are hereby ordered, so that Within a period not exceeding forty-eight hours from the receipt of this communication, they may appear before the instance concerned to prepare their return.
