He remarked that Mexico requires 2 million tonnes of ammonia every year to meet the current needs faced by producers and that everything is currently imported from other countries of the world, hence a project like GPO. which holds in Topolobampo, food is strategic to contribute to the sovereignty promoted by the current government.

It was announced in the meeting that the Topolobampo Fertilizer Plant would have a daily capacity of 2,200 tonnes, which would meet the needs of the state without any problem.
