El Fuerte, Sinaloa. – Beginning at 9 a.m., personnel from the Secretary of National Defense, the National Guard and the Directorate of Municipal Public Security set up a module arms swapWhere people who come and exchange their supplies will be able to get an economic trend of 2 thousand to 6 thousand pesos.
The executive secretary of the State Public Safety System, Ricardo Geni del Rincón, said the aim is prevention, awareness and reduction of accidents caused by the loss of any type of firearm in the home and it causes any type of accident.
He also said that the delivery of these weapons does not require any responsibility, investigation or request of any kind for information about their origin, adding that these weapons have to be removed from homes.
“The program is aimed at parents, young people and children to encourage adults to take out these weapons, take advantage of today where they will be able to receive various incentives when they bring their weapons to this campaign State official said
Mayor Guildardo Leva Ortega thanked the state government, Dr. Rubén Rocha Moya, for keeping this type of program active, where the main job is to take care of the citizens and prevent any misfortune with any family member.
“Our aim is to make parents aware of accident prevention, young people and children are vulnerable to this risk, they are in our interest” he expressed
The Presidium table was represented by Ricardo Geni del Rincón, Executive Secretary of the State Public Security System, President Guildardo Leva Ortega, Infantry Colonel Rogelio Carrera Samano Commander of the 89th Infantry Battalion, Representative of the Secretary of National Defense, Councilor Chairman of the Presidium. Caballdo explains to the Public Safety Commission Luis Aidan Valenzuela Gonzales and the Director of Public Safety and Municipal Traffic, Nathanel Ibarra.
The campaign will be active from May 11 to 22, with children coming along to donate a toy weapon with an adult being able to receive a new set as a gift.

This module is installed at the entrance of the municipal palace with a schedule from 9 am to 3 pm.
